Our Equipment and Supplies

Our facility is equipped with the following:

  • 6-foot diameter Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) System using 100% polyester resin Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) is a process where the winding is placed in the vacuum pressure tank. A vacuum is pulled to remove air from all voids and then the winding is submerged in 100% polyester resin and pressure is applied to force the resin into the voids. This process coats all the windings even into the cell slots. Finally, the windings are cured in the bake oven. VPI system not only has superior insulating qualities but also allows for better heat dissipation and less mechanical vibration. This VPI system is recommended for large, expensive motors and motors that are subject to a high degree of moisture.
  • Winding heads for mush wound coils to 6-foot length and 5-foot form wound
  • Burn-out oven with over temperature protection and temperature recorder if customer specifies
  • Vertical and horizontal mills
  • Lathe Machines - our largest lathe has 25-inch swing and 84-inch bed
  • 5-Ton overhead crane
  • Class "H" Insulating materials. We only use class "H" insulating materials on all of our rewinding works.
